As you probably know this will be a summer for geeks. Aside from Marvel’s The Avengers, we’re also gearing up for the latest Batman adventure, The Dark Knight Rises, starring the very sexy Anne Hathaway as Catwoman. Meow! Speaking of Batman, the Crazy Cool Comics team has decided to shed some light on Batman: The Ten Cent Adventure. While the first issue basically explains everything about Bruce Wayne’s tragic childhood, as well as his rough start as Batman, it’s done in a fun, creative way. We’re introduced to Sasha Bordeaux, one of Bruce Wayne’s top bodyguards. After discovering his true link to Batman, she’s brought on to fight by his side as they keep Gotham safe. Sasha is the narrator of the issue, not only telling us about herself, but also of her feelings for Bruce Wayne.
What’s cool about the issue is the unique twist that’s thrown in. Batman and Sasha run all over Gotham City, protecting citizens from various criminals, while a new crime is being committed in the last place you’d expect. We’re not going to spoil it for you, but trust us when we say it’s SHOCKING!
